KARACHI: If your Android phone and iPhone handset support outdated operating systems then they will not run WhatsApp anymore, a BBC report claims.
The report quoting WhatsApp said that the phones supporting Android 2.3.7 and older will not be able to run the world famous messaging and voice over IP service.
Similarly, iPhone iOS 8 or older would also not support the WhatsApp after the planned update.
The report added that the move was necessary to protect the security of WhatsApp users.
