KARACHI: The K-Electric has extended the unannounced loashedding in the city on Wednesday.

The K-Electric is using an excuse of low pressure in gas supply for the prolonged unannounced loadshedding in the city, which was cyrrently facing a wave of heat.

Liaquatabad C-1 area, Bhutta Village, various parts of Kemari, Khadda market, Lyari, Kharadar, Naya Abad were among the worst hit areas.

The power distribution company is subjecting to three-hour loadshedding after every two hours in Lyari and Kharadar, residents said.

A spokesperson for the KE said that the power company was facing a low pressure of gas as the Sui Suthern Gas Company (SSGC) was facing gas shortage.

He said that the temporary laod management will end once the gas pressure restores from the SSGC.
