Islamabad: Prime Minister’s National Task Force on Science and Technology Chairman Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman said on Sunday that the actual number of confirmed coronavirus patients is higher than the data being shown by the government.
He said that 30,000 to 40,000 people should be tested daily. Currently, only 3,000 to 4,000 people are being tested in a day.
Speaking to the media, he said that the current data of patients does not reflect the on the ground situation.
Dr Attta added that the true picture of the number of patients would emerge after 10 days.
