KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil who got severely injured in a gun attack on Tuesday, is weaned off ventilator today (Thursday).
Spokesman of Liaquat National Hospital Mr Anjum Rizvi told media here on Thursday that Godil was weaned off ventilator experimentally today, if his condition worsens, he will be put on the machine again.

Wife Records Statement
Godil’s wife, probably the only eyewitness of the gun attack told police that she cannot identify the attackers as she only saw her husband injured after the attack.
MQM leader Rashid Godil was critically wounded after unidentified armed men opened fire at his vehicle near his residence in Karachi’s Bahadurabad area on Tuesday following which he underwent emergency surgery and is currently in critical condition at the Liaquat National Hospital.
