ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Quetta hotel explosion was a suicide blast.
Addressing a presser here on Thursday, the interior minister said that the Quetta explosion was a suicide blast and the bomber kept sitting in his vehicle at the time of the blast.
“About 60 to 80 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast,” Rasheed told the media men. He added that five people were martyred while 10 injured in the suicide blast.
The interior minister said that he had directed to the Balochistan chief secretary for an immediate inquiry into the incident.
He added that anti-Pakistan elements were behind the Quetta blast. He said that Balochistan and Gwadar are future of Pakistan.
