Rangers surround MQM’s Nine Zero, PIB Colony office

KARACHI: Rangers’ contingents entered into temporary office of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) established in PIB Colony of Karachi on late night Tuesday.

Rangers’ personnel surrounded in and around MQM’s temporary office in PIB Colony in presence of central leaders Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan.

According to media reports, the raid was conducted when a meeting of MQM’s representatives of Local Government bodies was underway. It is noteworthy to mention here that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hold LG mayors and chairmen’s polls in Karachi on August 24 (tomorrow).

Reports said the security officials checked documents of the activists present inside the office.

On the other hand, Rangers’ contingents led by Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar surrounded MQM’s sealed headquarters Nine Zero once again. The Rangers’ head visited Nine Zero and its suburban parts.
