Rangers recover huge cache of weapons from Safari park’s storeroom in Karachi

KARACHI: The paramilitary forces recovered a huge cache of weapons from a store room at the city’s Safari Park in a raid conducted early morning Tuesday, informed a Sindh Rangers spokesperson.

The raid was conducted on intelligence-based information, the spokesperson stated.

Among the weapons found at the site were anti-aircraft guns, rifles, SMGs, LMGs, hand grenades and snipers. A large quantity of different types of bullets and cartridges were also recovered from the location.

According to Rangers spokesperson, the weapons were intended to be used to create unrest in the metropolis.  The Rangers detained the park’s guards for interrogation.
