KARACHI: At least three terrorist were killed in an exchange of fire with Rangers in Karachi area of Lyari in Lyari in Thursday’s wee hours.
The exchange of fire took place overnight in Lyari area of Gul Muhammed Lane where a paratrooper was also wounded in the clash. He has been shifted to hospital.
Rangers spokesperson said the law enforcement agency raided at Gul Muhammed Lane over intelligence information.
Heavy contingent of paratroopers entered the area to capture the saboteurs. However, the criminals ambushed them with heavy fire, injuring a Rangers man.
The paratroopers immediately cordoned off the area and gunned the miscreants down.
According to Rangers spokesman, latest firearms were recovered from the possession of the terrorists, whose bodies have been shifted to police station for their identification.
