KARACHI: Rangers have gunned down four ‘terrorists’ during a targeted operation in Karachi on early Thursday, said a spokesman for the paramilitary force.
“Paramilitary personnel conducted a targeted raid in Manghopir Khairabad area, during which four terrorists were killed,” said a spokesman for Pakistan Rangers Sindh.
“Rangers personnel also recovered weapons from the possession of these terrorists.”
“The operation was conducted on a tip-off that the terrorists were planning an attack on Independence Day,” he added.
