Rangers kill five gang war criminals in Karachi

KARACHI: Five gangsters got killed in two different encounters during Rangers operation in Lyari area on Saturday.

According to details, Rangers personnel on a tip off raided the Chakiwara area of Lyari Town where the gangsters opened fire on them.

Three of the terrorists were killed in retaliatory fire by Rangers.

The terrorists were identified as Abdul Samad alias Mulla, Imam Bukhsh alias Kheru and Majid alias Rickshaw wala. All three belonged to the Uzair Baloch group of Lyari gang war and were involved in a number of terrorism related activities including murder, extortion and kidnapping for ransom.

In an another Rangers encounter in Bihar Colony, two terrorists met their end at the hand of Rangers.

The armed men were identified as Anees and Junaid, both belonging to the Baba Ladla group of gang war.

Anis was involved in 19 target killing activities while Junaid is involved in five such activities along with a number of other crimes.
