Pakistan Rangers foiled the smuggling of drugs and weapons by India and arrested 6 Indian smugglers.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), 6 Indian smugglers have been arrested during infiltration attempts from July 29 to August 3, who are involved in drug and arms smuggling.

According to ISPR, among the arrested Indian nationals are Ferozepur resident Gurmij Singh, Shindar Singh, Jaginder Singh, Vishal Singh, while Jalandhar resident Mahendra Singh and Ludhiana resident Gurinder Singh have also been arrested.

ISPR says that action will be taken against the arrested smugglers for illegal entry into Pakistan as per Pakistani laws and anti-state activities.

ISPR says that the smooth movement of Indian smugglers from the border under the supervision of BSF is surprising, the possible nexus of Indian BSF with smugglers is not far-fetched.

ISPR said that it is expected that the effective surveillance system at the BSF border will eliminate the nexus of smugglers.
