Rangers claim arrest of a target killer from MQM MNA’s eatery

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on claimed that they had arrested a wanted target killer from a restaurant owned by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNA Ali Raza Abidi in Clifton.

According to a statement released by Rangers, the paramilitary force said they had been watching the Biryani of the Seas restaurant for some days on information that target killers used to frequent there.

On Thursday they raided the restaurant and arrested target killer Yameen alias AD, said the Rangers.

Rangers officials identified the arrested suspect as Yameen alias AD and claimed that he was wanted by the police for more than 10 murder cases, including the killing of four people last year in Good Luck Gardens.

They maintained that the accused was also involved in armed robberies and forceful closure of shops while sending millions of rupees of extortion money to MQM headquarters Nine Zero.

The restaurant owner, Abidi, claimed that the man evidently arrested by the Rangers had been arrested from Ranchore Lines after the Friday afternoon prayers.
