Rangers arrest PPP leader Qadir Patel

Rangers have detained Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Abdul Qadir Patel after initial investigation at Law Enforcement Agency’s (LEA) headquarters in Karachi on Thursday.

As per details, Ranges investigation officers had a four hours long investigation session with the PPP leader who was accuse of aiding, facilitating and funding Lyari Gang War terrorists.

He was also asked about Lyari Gang War Chief Uziar Baloch who was also recently arrest by Rangers. The officer asked him about the connection with Uzari, he replied he is not the only one in contact with Lyari Gang War chief but also other senior leaders of the party also made contact with Uzair as per their requirements.

Abdul Qadri Patel was also asked if he is involved in fleeing Uzair from Pakistan. PPP leader replied he didn’t know how he [Uzair] escaped from Pakistan on Iranian passport, sources said.

Sources said, PPP leader failed to satisfy Rangers officers on which he was arrested and transported to undisclosed location for interrogation.

Source added that Rangers could maximum keep him for 90 days.
