KARACHI: Rangers officials on Friday arrested member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rabitta Committee Gulfaraz Khattak on charges of involvement in provocative speech of MQM founder Altaf Hussain and attack on media houses in Karachi.
According to Rangers, the accused was taken into custody when he was leaving Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). The personnel have shifted Gulfaraz Khattak to some undisclosed location for further interrogation.
The officers said that he will be handed over to the police after initial investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here that MQM member was allegedly involved in attacks on media houses on August 22 and provocative speeches.
