KARACHI: Rangers personnel along with police force are deployed to provide security to the polio immunization teams.
The Inspector General of Police (Sindh) has deployed 3,000 Police personnel to provide security to 6000 polio workers operating in the city’s Central, West and East districts.
The drive was initially planned after the first case of Poliovirus was identified in Karachi earlier this month.
