Ramazan: Only 10 Rak’at of Taraweeh will be offered at Masjid-i-Nabawi (PBUH)

Riyadh: The administration of Masjid-i-Nabawi (PBUH) has announced security measures to deal with the coronavirus during the holy month od Ramazan.

The local newspaper quoted the mosque administration as saying that there would be 10 rak’ats of Taraweeh in Masjid-i-Nabawi (PBUH) while the mosque would be closed after half an hour of prayers.

The management of Masjid Nabawi (PBUH) has clarified that children below the age of 15 will not be allowed to bring the mosque.

Distribution of sehri packets in the Masjid, its courtyards and its various buildings will be completely banned. Aitikaf will also be suspended.
