Pakistan’s Ruet-e-Hilal committee commences meeting meet here on Wednesday (today) underway in Karachi to officially announce the Ramadan moon sighting.
The committee chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rahman announced that the meeting for all important task is undeway in the Karachi Met Office located on University Road. The meeting is being attended by various clerics and Met experts.
Zonal committee of Islamabad has reported the central committee that no evidences were found regarding moon sighted in the federal capital after Maghrib prayers.
Zonal committee in Lahore also reported for finding no evidence of crescent sighting across the province.
Any citizen who sights the moon and wishes to help the committee in the task can contact the Ruet-e-Hilal committee.
On the other hand, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States will observe the first day of Ramadan on Thursday (tomorrow).
