ISLAMABAD: Rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Zhob divisions, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir during next 24 hours. There are also chances of landslides in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Drizzle is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast while hot and humid weather to prevail elsewhere in the country.
Seasonal low lies over north-Balochistan and its adjoining area with its trough extending north eastward. Monsoon currents are also penetrating upper parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is also likely to enter upper parts of the country on Tuesday and may persist 02 to 03 days, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Hazara, Quetta divisions and FATA.
