Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has imposed a rain emergency in the province in view of monsoon rains

According to the Sindh Chief Minister’s spokesperson, the Sindh Chief Minister has directed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to start relief work.

The spokesperson said that the leavs of the employees of all the concerned government agencies have been canceled and the employees on leave have been directed to report to their departments.

It is believed that monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Sindh province, while continuous rains in Karachi have inundated many low-lying areas.
