RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staffs (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has met General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter, Chief of General Staff, United Kingdom at GHQ today, ISPR reports.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including regional security situation and measures to further enhance defence cooperation between both the countries came under discussion.
Chief of General Staff, United Kingdom also appreciated successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security.
Earlier, on arrival at General Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honour to the dignitary.
