ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that today is the day of our victory, adding that Pakistan has never deviated from peace.
On the occasion of the Surprise Day, he said that we sent the Indian pilot back to India as a goodwill gesture as our struggle for peace is in front of everyone.
Qureshi said that the ‘shaheen’ (hawks) of Pakistan Air Force raised the head of the entire nation with pride and gave a full answer by shooting down two Indian planes.
The foreign minister said that Pakistan wants peace in the region as our response was not to show any conceit but to move forward for our own defense. He said that peace has always been the first priority for Pakistan.
