Quetta to take on Islamabad in PSL opener

DUBAI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set for kick off today in United Arab Emirates with Islamabad United taking Quetta Gladiators in the first match of the event.

As many as five teams, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators; are participating in the event.

The Misbah-ul-Haq will be leading Islamabad side in today’s game against Sarfarz’s Quetta.

Both teams have the stars from around the cricket world such as Shane Watson, Brad Haddin will be representing Islamabad while Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and more will be playing for Quetta.

The first round will be followed by three quarter finals which will decide the top two teams that will fight in the final T20 game on February 23 at Dubai cricket stadium to win the event.
