QUETTA: Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said the security agencies and National Action Plan had totally failed after today’s attack.

He was paying a visit to the Balochistan High Court Bar along with Aitezaz Ahsan. He said, “The security agencies have totally failed. We worked so hard to make the National Action Plan after Army Public School massacre in Peshawar. Four days ago we had an attack in Quetta killing over 70 and today again there was an attack.” Shah insisted that it was unfortunate that ‘NAP was not implemented at all’. If institutions are weakened, people will have to suffer its consequences, said the PPP leader

Khursheed Shah further said, Nawaz Sharif should be very careful as his enemies were in surrounding undercover of being friends.

“It does not matter whether the government is weak or not. The state should not be weak,” he added.

Aitezaz Ahsan said, “National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) is still not functional which was a very important point of the National Action Plan. The PPP leader said there were 20 points for National Action Plan but none of them were put into practice.
