Quake claims 187 lives, over 1500 injured: KP CM Advisor

Advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister, Mushtaq Ghani said at least 187 people have died and over 1500 wounded in 7.5 magnitude earthquake.

Addressing to a press conferences he said, the tremors of the quake felt across the province including Peshawar.

The quake claimed the at least 187 lives so far while over 1500 sustained wounds in the earthquake, he said.

Provincial government already begun the relief and rescue work in affected areas as 2,000 camps, 2,000 blankets and other basic food items are transported there, he added.

He said that National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and others are conducting survey to calculate the damage, he said.
