DOHA: Qatar on Monday banned entry of Pakistanis and passengers from 13 other countries over coronavirus epidemic.
According to an official notification, the passengers from the 14 countries have temporarily been banned.
It added that passengers from Pakistan, India, South Korea, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon the Philippines have been banned entry into the country.
Last week, Pakistan’s national carrier had extended its flight suspension to China till March 31 amid coronavirus fear.
A spokesman for Pakistan International Airline had said that the decision to continue or end the flight suspension would be taken by the end of this month.
