LONDON: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that his party is not in favor of lock down but of knock down.

Talking to media at London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday, he said that Imran Khan talked to me and apologized.

“To lock down Islamabad is Imran and his party’s decision. We do not support every point of Imran however; we are in favor to knock out the corrupt,” he said.

The leaders are creators of corruption; they don’t have a right to remain in power, he added.

Qadri said that there is surely a connection between Nawaz government and neighboring India. “I am amazed that there is a tragedy whenever the PML-N government is under pressure,” he said.

He further said that the PAT workers were never involved in the attack on PTV. The people of PML-N themselves attacked it.

“I am predicting that neither democracy nor election can be put on the right path in this country. The local body representatives have not been distributed powers so far,” Qadri said.

Imran should be asked on how long the sit-in will continue, he added.
