LAHORE: The Punjab Finace Minister Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha will present the province’s annual budget for the fiscal year 2015-16 in the Provincial Assembly today (Friday)
Dr. Ayesha will present the budget with an estimated outlay of Rs1154.
According to sources, the provincial government is likely to allocate Rs402 billion for development programme while an amount of Rs53 billion is likely to be earmarked for the education sector. Health sector will be given Rs45 billion.
The government employees are expected to get 10% salary raise.
A sum of Rs5.60 billion is likely to be allocated for sports and youth affairs in the budget and Rs2 billion special programme will be announced for disabled people.
