LAHORE: Inspector General of Punjab Police Shoaib Dastagir has been removed from office over differences with the CCPO here on Tuesday.
The sources said that Inam Ghani has been appointed as a new IGP of Punjab.
Sources said that Prime Minister Imran after consultation with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar removed the IGP.
Dastagir is the 5th IGP which has been removed in five years in the province.
