Lahore: The country’s largest province, Punjab, having a population of 110 million has only 130 ventilators at hospitals, it is revealed on Sunday.
According to a report submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan by the Punjab government, the district headquarters hospitals across the province had only 130 ventilators.
The report added that 100 ventilators would soon be made available at the hospitals.
The out patient departments at all the hospitals are functioning in the province, it added.
There are seven laboratories in the province which are conducting 3,100 coronavirus tests daily.
