LAHORE: The Punjab government on Tuesday lifted ban on the appointment of disabled persons.
According Punjab Department Sources, as many as 3547 special persons had applied for the posts in 5 to 15 grade in different departments but were refused jobs.
A notification pertaining to allowing 47 organizations to hire people with disabilities has now been issued by the provincial government.
It was also learnt that jobs would be given to those who have already submitted their requests.
