LAHORE: After successful negotiations with teachers bodies, Punjab government on Wednesday decided to offer permanent employment to all contract teachers of the province within a week.
As many as 50,000 contract teachers will be benefited from the provincial government decision as they all will be regularized.
In addition, the government has also decided not to undertake disciplinary action against several teachers.
