ISLAMABAD: Punjab Government following the footsteps of federal government, decided to pay salaries to all of its employees ahead of Eid ul Adha
Following the announcement of federal government, a summary was sent to chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif regarding salary matter which was approved.
Earlier, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had accorded his approval to payment of salaries to federal government employees on September 21 to facilitate them ahead of Eid ul Adha.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Finance on Saturday said that the decision has taken to facilitate the employees to undertake the religious obligation of offering sacrifice and enjoy the Eidul-Adha festivities.
