Pulwama areas shut to mourn killing of youth

In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore, Awantipora and other areas of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district, today, to mourn the killing of two youth by Indian troops.

The youth identified as Tasaaduq Amin Shah, a resident of Kadlibal, Pampore, and Irfan Ahmed Dijoo of Naina Litter area of Pulwama were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Braw Bandina area of Awantipora, yesterday.

All shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed in Pampore, Awantipora and many other areas while traffic is off the road.

Meanwhile, people in large numbers are visiting the residences of the slain youth on the second day, today, to express solidarity with their families.

On the other hand, the occupation authorities continue to suspend the train service on Srinagar-Banihal track on the second successive day, today.
