Karachi: Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has said that the biggest problem at present is to stop the spread of Coronavirus but at the same time we have to focus on other public welfare works as well.
Sindh Government considers its primary responsibility to solve the problems of the people in a timely manner.
He said this while visiting Talpur Colony and Shahi Bazaar Pakistan Chowk in Tando Muhammad Khan here on Sunday.
He was accompanied by Municipal Chairman Syed Shahnawaz Shah Bukhari, Public Health Engineering Engineer Maula Bakhsh, local PPP leader Danish Rajput and Abdul Karim.
The Special Assistant to Chief Minister said that a 650-foot line would be laid from HBL Chowk to Bashir Chowk to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Talpur Colony.
Later, Naveed Qamar also visited Shahi Bazaar Pakistan Chowk.
On this occasion, he was informed that dirty water was being mixed in the drinking water, due to which the residents of the area were facing problems and there was a danger of giving rise to diseases.
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister directed the Public Health Engineering officials to resolve the issue immediately and ensure safe drinking water supply to the people of the area.
He appealed to the people to support the Sindh government in tackling the Coronavirus and stop its spread and strictly follow the lockdown policy.
