LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Wednesday said masses will conduct accountability if  the judicial commission failed to provide justice.

He said this while meeting with JI Punjab delegation chaired by JI parliamentary leader in the provincial assembly Doctor Syed Waseem Akhtar.

Sirajul Haq said the corrupt elite should fare of that day when masses will come out of their shanties and besiege their palaces. He said Pakistan’s debt could be paid by controlling 40 percent corruption and added that budget could be doubled by controlling 80 percent corruption. He continued that national and international media had exposed many faces.

The JI leader said few families had occupied politics, democracy and all other institutions just like East India Company. The JI leader said every institution and public office had become the centre of corruption. Offshore companies were a part of the corrupt system and the real story yet to be disclosed.

Haq said the Panama issue will not be resolved with speeches and demanded more powers for the commission. He said such people had no right to rule in Pakistan, who went London and New York for treatment and their children read abroad.

The JI leader said quota system was destroying merit in the country and added that solid measures were needed to resolve the panama issue.
