Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police arrested Dr. Syed Alam Mehsud, the central leader of the Pashtun Tehreek Movement (PTM).
Police arrested Dr. Syed Alam Mehsud from his residence in Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
According to police, Dr Syed Alam was arrested for making insulting and provocative speeches against Pakistan and the security forces.
Police said that a protest was held in front of Peshawar Press Club led by Dr. Syed Alam where PTM workers had made insulting speeches for the release of arrested National Assembly member Ali Wazir.
