PTI’s Tiger Force set to become operational from today

Islamabad: The Tiger Force, formed by the PTI to collect data and assist affectees of lockdown, is set to become operational from today in the country.

In this connection, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a PTI’s parliamentary meeting, which was attended by chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal ministers via video link.

Usman Dar, the prime minister’s special assistant briefed the meeting on the Tiger Force. The meeting also discussed the situation arisen due to coronavirus pandemic and the measures taken to limit it.

The meeting decided to operationalise the Tiger Force from today, sources said.

They added that the force would become functional soon after the prime minister’s address to the youth today.

The parliamentary meeting also decided that district administrations and high ranking bureaucracy at the provincial level would cooperate with the Tiger Force.
