Islamabad: Renowned anchor and  journalist Salim Safi has claimed that not only Shibli Faraz as a spokesman could not prove this illegal government as legal but even Allama Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz or Ahmed Faraz could not justify this government if they are tasked to do so.

Safi took to Twitter and said:” who else can prove incompetence as competence, arrogance as vision, revenge as accountability, destruction as settlement and impudicity as pudicity.”

On Friday, Information Minister Shibli Faraz had said that the government had given Rs12,000 to the deserving families upholding their self-respect.

He made this claim while speaking at a press conference.

Faraz said that the coronavirus issue could not be tackled on the provincial level as it is national issue.

When asked about differences between the Sindh government and the centre, the information minister said that now consensus had evolved between them.

He further said that to benefit labourers the prime minister had opened the construction sector in the country.

Faraz said that we could not afford a sweeping lockdown, adding that the Sindh government had also realised this fact.
