KARACHI: Four PTI workers were arrested on charges of protesting and rioting outside the house of dissident party MNA Ramesh Kumar.
A case has been registered at the Boat Basin police station, which also includes the names of PTI Sindh Assembly members Shahnawaz Jadoon and Saeedullah Afridi.

PTI workers later staged a protest outside Clifton Police Station against the arrests.
In this regard, Media Cell PTI Sindh said that the protest is being carried out on the arrests of the families of the workers. It added that the families of the workers have been arrested and harassed.
PTI Media Cell claims that PTI MPAs and workers were abused by SSP South during the protest. Former South District President Murad Sheikh was arrested from his house.
Talking to a local TV, PTI Karachi President Bilal Ghaffar said that four of our workers have been arrested.
The protest outside the police station was called off after successful talks between SP Clifton Rohail Khoso and PTI leaders.
Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) dissident leader Ramesh Kumar had submitted an application against Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shahbaz Gill with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the police.
Ramesh Kumar has taken a stand in the petition that Shahbaz Gill leveled allegations in the live show against him. Kumar said that Gill gave his phone number to PTI supporters and now he is receiving death threats.
The PTI dissident leader said in the petition that at the request of Shahbaz Gill thousands of calls from PTI workers were coming to him nd his family members were being harassed.
He said that a campaign was being launched against him at the behest of Shahbaz Gill.
The dissident PTI leader demanded that immediate action be taken against Shahbaz Gill and others and that police security be provided to him.
