NEW YORK: Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tahreen-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said that the party will run another movement against the government from August 7.

Talking to a ceremony in New York, the minister said that the campaign would not be against democracy but it will deal with the corruption.

He congratulated the elected members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and hoped that the coming elections would be transparent and fair.

Shah Mahmood also rejected the news related to leaving party and termed such information as rumors.

Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan called a meeting of his party’s senior leaders at his residence Bani Gala in Islamabad.

In the meeting, the situation of country’s affairs will be discussed. It is also expected that the schedule and strategy of protests against government, which are going to start on 7 August, will be decided. The preparation of those protests will also be checked in the meeting.
