PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is on top as per unofficial and unconfirmed result so far have been announced up till now with 126 Tehsil Council seats (TC) and 146 District Council seats (DC).
According to the details unofficial results of 400 seats of Tehsil Council out 0f 978 and 511 District Council seats out of 978 seats have been announced so far. In TC PTI secured 126 seats while independents candidates trailing with 93 seats.
Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Awami National Party (ANP), are on third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively with 71, 61, 54 and 52 seats in TC.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) got 22 seats, Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) secured eight seats of TC.
The PTI also leading in DC seats whose 400 out of 978 unofficial results have been announced. PTI leading the race with 126 seats, Independent candidates is trailing with 77 seats, JUI-F got 64 seats, JI secured 57 seats, ANP won 32 seats .
The elections at Village and Neighbourhood Councils were held on non-party basis whereas on party basis at Tehsil and District Council level on Saturday.
As many as 84,420 candidates were in the field for 41,762 seats and 11,211 polling stations were set up.
