ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided not to withdraw the Senate ticket issued to Federal Minister Faisal Vawda.

A meeting of the PTI’s parliamentary board was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan to review the objections of party leaders, including the distribution of tickets for the Senate elections, while reviewing the distribution of tickets in the four provinces.

According to sources, the PTI parliamentary board has decided to retain the ticket given to Faisal Wawda and PTI Sindh’s objections in this regard were rejected.

They added that the prime minister had said that Faisal Vawda has services for the party.

The sources said that the parliamentary board has decided to give party ticket to Liaquat Turki from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and withdraw the ticket from Najiaullah Khattak.
