KARACHI: The family of the slain PTI leader Zohra Shahid is in a severe state of shock after the party had entered into an alliance with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) to form government in the centre.
The family members say that had never even thought Imran Khan will ever sit with the terrorist party.
In the past, the PTI chief had blamed the then MQM for the murder of his senior colleague.
On the other hand, the PTI MPs and workers also have shown their severe concerns and anger over alliance with the MQM-P.
In this connection, a delegation comprising recently elected MPs had met with Imran Khan and conveyed their reservations over forming an alliance with the MQM-P.
The PTI leaders from Karachi feared that MQM-P might indulge in violent activities including collecting extortion and target killings in Karachi in coming days that would also bring a bad name for the PTI.
