PTI leader Hassaan Niazi arrested

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hassaan Khan Niazi was arrested.

According to sources, Hassaan Niazi has been arrested from Abbottabad, he is accused of being involved in the Jinnah House attack on May 9.

Sources say that PTI lawyer Ali Ijaz Butar has confirmed the arrest of Hasasan Khan Niazi.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court has issued a written order for the hearing on the appeal against the conviction of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.

A bench comprising Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said in its decision that the appeal of Chairman PTI is against the August 5 decision of the trial court.

It has been said in the judgment that a trial was conducted against the Chairman PTI on the complaint of the Election Commission, the trial court sentenced the Chairman PTI to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs100,000.

In the order, the Islamabad High Court issued notices on the appeal against the sentence and the request for suspension of the sentence while seeking the complete record of Tosha Khana case against Chairman PTI.
