ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders failed to present evidence before the Supreme Court.

Talking to media along with other PML-N leaders, Daniyal Aziz said that the PTI had been declaring their allegations as evidence for so long but fell silent before the court.

He said PTI chairman Imran Khan continuously claimed from atop the container that he had proofs against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif. “But today, PTI lawyers said before the court that they had no evidence against PM. If they don’t have any evidence, why did they waste the nation’s time?”, the PML-N leader said.

He said that Supreme Court needed evidence against the PM while PTI lawyers Hamid Khan said he had none. “Two years ago, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmood-ur-Rasheed had claimed something about 24 properties. Why wasn’t he presented before the court today? They all know PM has nothing to do with Panama Leaks”, he added.

“Today, all those lying should feel ashamed of themselves. They continuously said that there were grave discrepancies among the statements by PM’s children. Various videos were doctored to engineer a fake story about their assets”, said Aziz.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Zubair said that PML-N had all the evidence that the court demanded, and they were all submitted today. He added that the supporting documents will also be submitted by next Tuesday.

“The case is already in the court. PTI should leave politics now, and focus on the courts”, he said.
