Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district-level candidate Javed Khan sustained serious injuries in deadly attacked by unidentified assailants in Kailag area of Hariput district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Unidentified gunmen resorted to firing on electoral campaign of the candidate, killing six person and injuring two in the incident reported so far. The deceased persons include three closer friends of Javed Khan who himself sustained serious injuries by bullets.
Rapid retaliation has also gunned down three attackers on the spot while one more got injured. Javed Khan is being shifted to the nearby hospital.
Law enforcement agencies and rescue teams have rushed at the site to start shifting the victims to the nearby hospital.
