PTI decides to abstain from Parliament’s joint sitting

ISLAMABAD: A high level meeting of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf Saturday decided to boycott the joint sitting of parliament on 17th November which is to be addressed by President Erdogan of Turkey.

According to reports, a meeting of the senior leaders of PTI was held at the Bani Gala residence of Imran Khan and took the decision saying that it cannot sit in the house in the presence of a disputed prime minister.

Reports said that Imran Khan would meet the Turkish Ambassador and explain the position and request for a separate meeting with the President of the friendly country.

Meanwhile,  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday announced that he would submit evidence in the Panama Papers case on November 15.

Imran announced the decision during meeting with Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in Islamabad. Both discussed the country’s political situation and Panama leaks issue.

On the occasion, the PTI chief said that his party’s case is very strong over Panamagate scandal.

Sheikh Rasheed reiterated that Nawaz Sharif cannot hold his office as he has lost the moral authority.
