LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mahmoodur Rasheed has filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging section 144 in Punjab.
As per details, opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rasheed filed the petition in which he stated the section 144 across Punjab is unconstitutional.
He said PTI didn’t damage any State Property, while section 144 is imposed where law and order situation is out of control.
The sections 144 in Punjab is the violation of constitutional act 14, 15 and 16, he said adding that the enforcement of sections 144 should be declares nulled and unconstitutional.
