ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has taken action against unverified SIMs and blocked 27.5 million unconfirmed SIMs here on Saturday.
The PTA blocked the unverified SIMs after the 15-day revised dead line.75.5 millions SIMs out of 103 million have been verified during the PTA verification drive.PTA said in a statement that these SIMs could be unblocked by the owner by visiting any sale channel and performing successful biometric verification.
