ABU DHABI: To ward off extreme heat, many players during the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League-VI will wear ice vests on the field.
The sixth editon of PSL will resume on June 9. Day-time temperature is likely to range betwen 38 and 40 degrees.
Sources said that the players will use ice vests, collars, packs and drink coconut water on the field. Coconut water is natural coolant.
The mega event was stopped in March after seven cricketers contracted Covid-19.
